Better Placed: marketing the world’s largest international
student placement provider
IDP has grown from being a purely Australian organisation to one
that embraces the world, with over 80 offices in more
than 25 countries. IDP operates professional marketing teams
in all its country offices and marketing enquiries within each
country should be directed through the local website. For your
country web site see here
The IDP brand – International Students are “Better Placed”
IDP started out as the International Development Program – an
initiative of Australian universities in the late 1960s that
focussed on the management of scholarship programs in Indonesia and
beyond.
While the initials have not changed, IDP has now moved on and
around the world, IDP means something very different. In 2011, IDP
is synonymous with the concept of being “ Better Placed”. This
encompasses the notion that through the unique personal service
delivered by IDP counsellors and the business systems that support
them, IDP’s international students will be placed in the right
course, the right institution and the right country for them –
every time.
Our focus is on each individual international student. This is why
the brand vision that underpins the IDP logo “Open Your World” is
all about the expansion of life opportunities around the world that
IDP can facilitate for international students.
IDP delivers on this promise. International students placed with
IDP consistently rate their satisfaction with the IDP student
placement service as “Good” or “Excellent” in independent
surveys.
