Peter Polson Appointed Chair of IDP Education Pty Limited

The board of IDP Education Pty Limited has appointed Peter Polson as its chair. Mr Polson has held numerous directorships and is currently Chairman of the Challenger Financial Services Group Ltd, a diversified financial services and wealth management company.

 

Mr Polson has thirty years experience in the financial services industry where he has held senior executive roles at the Commonwealth Bank, the Colonial Group, National Mutual and the Standard Bank Group.

 

Mr Polson is currently a director of AWB Limited, a board which he joined in April 2003 after the Iraq war had commenced and the United Nations-managed Oil for Food program had ended. He is also currently a director of Professional Indemnity Insurance Co. Australia Pty Ltd. His past directorships include Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group as well as a number of boards within the Commonwealth Bank Group and the Colonial Group.
