Students eager to study abroad in the United Kingdom will chat
live with some of the country’s leading education institutions when
IDP Education’s largest ever Virtual Fair commences on
today.
IDP’s UK Virtual Fair will invite more than 30 institutions based
in the United Kingdom to interact online with students from India,
China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Oman,
Turkey and the UAE.
Academics and experts from the University of Sussex, University of
Southampton, University of Birmingham, The University of Aberdeen
and University of Dundee are among those hosting Virtual Fair live
chats.
More than 1,500 student registrations have already been received
for the free online event.
Andrew Thompson, Chief Executive Officer at IDP Education, said
students would receive valuable academic and career guidance
directly from institutions abroad at the press of a button.
“We’re bringing some of the United Kingdom’s most recognised
institutions straight to your computer screens,” Mr Thompson
said.

Each institution has a unique Virtual Fair website profile
featuring facilities, entry requirements and student lifestyle.
Students can watch video testimonials featuring fellow students,
and learn more about their career prospects after graduation.
Students can also receive ‘offline’ responses from institutions,
and seek advice from professionally-trained IDP Education
counsellors to further explore their study options after ‘live
chat’ sessions.
The Virtual Fair runs Tuesday 29 January to Thursday 31 January.
