IELTS Enquiry on Results

Didn't get the results you need?

We do understand the frustration of not achieving your desired IELTS band score and it may be required as part of your application for employment, study or migration. These are all important, life-changing applications and we respect this.

If you feel that your test performance is not reflected in the score you received, you can request an IELTS review of your score (also called an IELTS remark, or IELTS Enquiry on Result). You may choose to have one or more test modules re-marked. The fee* is the same regardless.

You will be notified of the re-mark result within 2 - 21 days of receipt of your application. If your result is changed to a higher band score you will :

  • receive a full refund

  • be issued with a new Test Report Form

Please also note that:

  • you will only be able to fill the below form if your IELTS test date was within the past 42 days (six weeks). Any test date after six weeks is unable to be re-marked

  • if your centre is not listed on the form, please contact your test centre directly to apply for an Enquiry on Results application

  • A re-mark application may only be submitted once for each test and the outcome provided is final

You can also take a look at our suggestions that might help with improving your English skills before your next IELTS test. If you have any queries about your re-mark submission, please contact us at eor.ielts@idp.com

*The re-mark fee is A$ 176.00 (inclusive of GST).

If you're having difficulties viewing/using the form on your mobile device, access our page on your desktop.
