Julia is originally from China and has been living in Australia since 2004, where she completed her Master of Commerce. Julia looks after students from parts of Southeast Asia, namely Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Hong Kong. She has been working with IDP for more than 8 years and prides herself on ensuring the best outcome for her students. When she isn’t working she enjoys shopping and trying different foods.
Fluent in Tagalog and English.
Sasha has over two and a half years experience helping students from the Philippines. In that short time, she realised that she wanted a career in education and finds it very fulfilling to support and counsel students about their study options and future goals. She loves spending time with her family and tries to catch all her favourite crime investigation documentaries, travel and food vlogs during her free time.
Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Elise came to Australia from Vietnam almost 3 years ago to pursure her Bachelor's degree at Macquarie University. While living and studying here she discovered that she can connect with and help other international students as she was once in their shoes. Elise is interested in all aspects of international education, especially in cross-cultural communication and cultural adjustment. She also loves to cook Vietnamese food, play boardgames and writing.
Fluent in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.
Smetha has been living in Australia since 2015. As an international student who graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with a Master of Business Administration, she understands the challenges international students face and can relate to them on many levels. Her goal is to help as many students pursue their dreams academically in Australia. She loves classical dancing and doing craft work in a her free time.

Ian was an international student who completed his tertiary education in Australia. He completed his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney, majoring in Government and International Relations. He used to own an online tutoring company and enjoyed assisting students. Eventually, he realised that he wanted a career in international education to better support students in their education journey. When Ian is not bust helping students, he enjoys playing badminton, cooking and listening to hip hop music!
Fluent in Vietnamese and English
Originally from Vietnam, Tracy completed her Bachelor of Media at UNSW. Tracy came to Australia as an international student to complete her high school studies. Based on her experience, she has a good understanding of the issues and can relate to her students. She has been working in this industry for over 2 years and mainly deals with Vietnamese students. Tracy also likes to watch Chinese drama and loves food and bubble tea!

Alyssa is originally from the Philippines and has over 6 years of working experience in international education. She is also currently studying to be a registered Migration Agent, so she can apply this knowledge to further help her students. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Janet Lu (MARN 1808760)

Janet is from China and has been living in Australia for several years. She has been working in IDP for over 2 years. Recently, she joined our Migration team as a Migration Agent, assisting and managing students’ visa enquiries and applications.
Fluent in Hindi, Gujarati and English
Kunal is from India and recently completed his Master in Management at Macquarie University, MGSM. Kunal has over 2 years’ experience in international education and looks after students mainly from the subcontinent region. Kunal is a big foodie and enjoys exploring different cultures and travelling. He is also passionate about helping international students with their career and educational journey in Australia.
