The Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) website allows you to compare student experiences and employment outcomes data for Australian higher education institutions.
QILT is an important Australian Government initiative that is improving transparency and quality in higher education. The QILT website gives you independent, impartial information about student experiences and graduate outcomes. QILT helps you to make the best choice for you, and provides valuable feedback to institutions.
The Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) website brings together data from over 350,000 surveys, completed by current students and graduates around Australia.
The higher education surveys are conducted annually on a national scale by an independent administrator contracted to the Australian Government. Independence ensures consistency and timely results, the use of up to date survey techniques and allows students to be tracked longitudinally throughout their studies and into the workforce.
QILT allows you to compare institutional performance across twelve key indicators of quality teaching and learning practices, focusing on:
- overall satisfaction of current students
- overall satisfaction of recent graduates
- rates of students moving into full-time employment after graduation, and
- the median salary received by recent graduates.
