Aranmore Catholic College is a co-educational school for Years 7-12. Aranmore Catholic College was founded on its present site in Leederville in 1903 by two Sisters of Mercy, From it’s inception, the college has always welcomed new migrants to Australia. The diversity of it’s student population is even more remarkable when students consider they only have 700 students. Aranmore Catholic College is a place of opportunity for all students. It endeavours to cater for students from all backgrounds and abilities. The college is an entirely welcoming community and it believes that students are able to provide an all-round education for students.
Aranmore Catholic College provides a strong educational foundation for all its students both academically, physically and spiritually. Students in Years 7, 8 & 9 receive a general education across all of the Learning Areas. The emphasis is on building general skills and for preparing students for Senior School. Students in the Senior School are being prepared for leaving school. Students in the Senior School at Aranmore can choose courses that lead directly to University entrance, TAFE or employment. Year 10 introduces students to Senior School where they can sample courses available in Years 11 and 12 to demonstrate their ability and to make informed choices for the continuation of their senior studies into those years.
Aranmore Catholic College is located in Leederville, just off vibrant Oxford Street, a mere 3 kilometres from the Perth C.B.D. The students at the college enjoy a first class education, underpinned by traditional values, in a safe, supportive environment.
