Australian College of Agriculture & Horticulture (formally known as Horticultural Skills Australia) is a specialist school delivering high quality industry-based training to the Australian Horticulture Industry and is a leading pathway provider working in association with major universities and industry partners in Australia. ACAH specialises in the provision of consulting and training services to the Australian Agriculture & Horticulture industry. It delivers high quality training to the Australian Production and Amenity Horticulture Industry sectors. The objective of our training programs is to assist commercial enterprises and institutions to achieve their training requirements in the increasingly competitive and changing environment.

With its reputation to provide high quality consultancy service to the industry, ACAH delivers its training programs on the platform of best industry practice by incorporating emerging technologies and improved work practices that students are trained to meet the current industry standards. Utilising, its well established links with the industry and key institutions, ACAH is able to maximise benefits to all students. Dedicated teaching staffs with extensive horticultural industry-based teaching and consultancy experience are able to effectively interact and relate with students from diverse experience and cultural backgrounds.

The industry specific training programs allow students to complete training on a flexible delivery system. Through this flexible training delivery students are able to complete their qualifications in the classroom, in the laboratories and on the job, whilst undertaking valuable work experience followed by intensive work experience/skilling on commercial farms and nurseries. This training methodology ensures that on completion of their training programs our graduates are job ready to operate across the wider sectors of the horticulture industry.

These clients represent leading corporate, family farms and growers operating in the production horticulture, viticulture and amenity horticulture industry.

The articulated training programs are professionally developed in association with universities and industry partners, enabling their graduates to operate widely in the horticulture and agribusiness industry. These qualifications empower their graduates to operate as trade’s persons, hands on supervisors, managers, agronomists, consultants in the industry and agribusiness environment. Graduates of these qualifications are able to fill key positions in the agribusiness industry working as Horticultural Agronomists, Horticultural Consultants, Orchard, Vineyard and QA Managers.
