About Australian Pacific College

Australian Pacific College was founded in 1993 and was registered on 26 April 1994 to provide English language courses for international students and travellers. Today, 20 years later, from a start of only one student for the first six months in 1994, the institute has over 5,000 international students from over 90 nationalities completing their programs annually.

Australian Pacific College offers a range of English courses designed to suit every need. Students can choose to study General English to improve their conversational English skills, or they can choose one of its English for Specific Purposes programs such as English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or Exam Preparation. Students can also choose to study Vocational English programs such as English for Tourism & Hospitality or Business English.

Australian Pacific College has established direct entry arrangements with a number of Australian Universities such as the UNSW Foundation Year, Macquarie University, University of Western Sydney (UWS), Central Queensland University (CQU) and many more, as well as with vocational providers. These enable students who have successfully completed the EAP course and met the English language and academic requirements to enter university and vocational courses without completing an IELTS examination. APC offers a range of vocational courses in the areas of Accounting, Business, Hospitality, Information Technology, Management, Marketing, Travel & Tourism and TESOL. All of its courses are nationally accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and provide comprehensive training in the relevant areas. Graduates of its higher level qualifications are eligible for course credit transfer at the universities and higher education providers with whom APC has agreements. APC has vocational qualifications that are suitable for school leavers and those entering the work force and also for those seeking to improve their knowledge and skills for higher level job roles.
