Monash University Malaysia
Established in 1998, Monash Malaysia is the first foreign university campus in Malaysia that operates in partnership with the Sunway Education Group. The Malaysian government invited Monash University to open a campus in 1998. Now more than 15 years old, Monash University Malaysia is a model of transnational education, consists of 6000 students and approximately 700 staff members. A premier research-intensive Australian university ranked among the top 100 universities in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, and a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight (Go8).
Monash University Malaysia offers an internationally recognised Australian education, enriching the student experience and employability through educational innovation, high impact research, student mobility, social entrepreneurship and industry engagement. A self-accrediting university, its campus offers a distinctly international and culturally rich environment with over 6,000 students from 70 different countries.
