East Carolina University
East Carolina University was chartered in 1907 as a state supported teacher training school. It is currently the third largest campus in the University of North Caroline system. East Carolina University is located in Greenville, North Carolina approximately 136 km east of Raleigh, which is the state’s capital city, and 140 km west of Atlantic beaches. Three distinct campuses comprise ECU, the main one being in an urban residential area.
