Located in Perth, Western Australia, Stanley College is an Institute of Higher Education and Registered Training Provider, offering many study programs to its more than 1,300 students. Western Australia is the world's largest state, with sandy beaches and clear waters stretching 12,000 km along the coast. With almost 300 sunshine days per year, it's the perfect place to explore and discover.

Stanley College ranks among Australia's largest and most awarded Independent Education Providers, with six faculties representing 42 countries enrolled. The college offers internationally recognised qualifications, equivalent to TAFE and university level degree programs in Australia. Undergraduate and postgraduate programs are available, as well as vocational qualifications and professional year programs.

English language courses support Stanley College's vibrant international community. Entry is supported by a number of scholarship schemes, and applicants with VET Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications are offered unconditional entry. Articulation pathway programs are available throughout all faculties, including hospitality, aged care, early childhood education and business.

The team at Stanley College is comprised of around 200 experienced and highly qualified members of staff, passionate about their work and proactively engaging with students. There are 18 different languages spoken among the team, enabling staff to connect with students from all over the world, helping them to reach their highest potential. Students spend two to 4.5 years enrolled and the staff assist in finding internships to participate in, as well as work after graduation.

Department structure

Faculty of Health

This faculty offers the Certificate III and IV in Individual Care with work-based training at a registered aged care provider. Graduates gain guaranteed entry into Stanley College's Bachelor of Business or in a Bachelor of Nursing at an Australian university.

Faculty of Early Childhood Education

In the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education, students gain hands-on experience in its on-campus crèche before commencing their work-based training at a registered early childhood education centre. Further study options include entry with advanced standing towards its bachelor's degree or entry into a nursing or teaching degree at an Australian university.

Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality

This faculty provides certificate and diploma courses for students seeking careers in commercial cookery, food and beverage services, and restaurant and hotel management. Courses contain work-based training at major hotels and restaurants.

Graduates of the Diploma of Hospitality gain guaranteed entry and advanced standing into the Bachelor of Business program.

Facilities

Stanley College delivers courses from three campuses in and around the city of Perth. All campuses are located close to public transport, which is free within the Perth CBD (Perth City Campus and West Perth Campus).

All campuses are modern, have disability access and an international student services unit helping students finding accommodation, employment, organising activities and assisting with academic and non-academic support.

Each campus features a prayer room and houses course specific facilities such as restaurant, bar, coffee shop, commercial kitchens, crèche, aged care ward and business centre. All classrooms are clean and modern, with digital screens. Students can access learning material via the library or online learning platform, Canvas.

Students can also take advantage of subsidised rates at coffee shops (Perth City Campus and West Perth Campus).

Western Australia has a very low crime rate. Thousands of students and visitors experience a very safe lifestyle and locals attest that it is the best place to raise a family.

Perth ranks among the safest cities in the world. All Stanley College campuses feature 24 hour-video surveillance and onsite first aid, health and safety officers.

Students have access to a 24-hour emergency helpline and the student support team is available seven days a week. All orientation programs include guidance and advice on personal safety, health, wellbeing, and up to date Covid-19 information.

Western Australia has experienced one of the lowest Covid-19 infection rates in the world. All Stanley College staff have completed Covid-19 infection control training and all campuses adhere to the government's Covid-19 safety guidelines. Professional student counselling is available for students who feel worried or have any concerns.
