UALR offers more than 203 programs of study out of which 13 are doctoral programs, 48 are master degrees and 67 are baccalaureate degree programs. Beside this, with dozens of accredited degrees, certificates, and minors offered 100% online, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock offers students the flexibility to balance family, work, and school responsibilities on their own schedule.
The purpose of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Campus Recreation is to provide opportunities for a diversified population to recreate, exercise, and socialize through variety of programs. Campus Recreation help stimulate student learning and development as well as enhance the quality of life for the students, faculty, and staff.
Fitness & Wellness Classes offers approximately thirty group exercise classes, personal programming, personal training, incentive programs, personal assessments, and CPR/First Aid classes during the academic year. Special Events offers opportunities for leisure, education, socialization, fitness, and fun through a variety of alternative events. The program’s purpose is to provide off-campus connections with other universities’ participants through competitive and recreational events
Learning doesn’t just take place in the classroom, and student organization membership is a way to become involved in their academic or professional field and to connect with other students while they have a great time. UA Little Rock has over 100 student organizations to offer. Organizations may be formed or dissolved each semester as the student body changes.
UA Little Rock students get to learn from the best professors around in classes that are as engaging as they are rigorous. Coursework blends critical thinking with real-world experience, providing a springboard for internships and later careers in such in-demand fields as nursing, engineering, data quality, criminal justice, and education.
Stretching over 250 tree-covered acres in Little Rock’s midtown area, the main campus is home to more than 50 buildings, including many with LEED designations for their energy efficiency.
