Australian Maritime College is part of the University of Tasmania which is the National Institute for Maritime Education, Training and Research. Founded in 1890, the University is the fourth oldest university in Australia and boasts a rich and proud history. AMC is one of the seven founding members of the International Association of Maritime Universities. The College is recognised globally as being a centre for excellence. AMC is dedicated to ensuring its courses offerings remain relevant to global demands.
