Fleming College is named after famous Canadian inventor and engineer sir Sanford Fleming, the college features more than 100 full-time programs in arts and heritage, business, environmental and natural resource sciences, general arts and sciences, health and wellness, justice and community development, skilled trades and technology, and continuing education.
Fleming has something to offer to all students, post-graduate programs, apprenticeships, diploma programs and certificates as well as part-time or continuing education courses and online courses. This range of choices allows for greater flexibility and accessibility to better meet the diverse needs of our students. Fleming College programs incorporate experiential learning opportunities to help students transition from post-secondary education to a career with a future. Depending on the choice of program of the student, they will have many options to apply what they have learned to in their chosen field.
Located in the heart of central Ontario, Fleming College has campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg and Halliburton. Sutherland Campus is located on 200 acres in the City of Peterborough and is the largest campus with about 5,200 full-time students and 70 full-time programs. Peterborough is one of Canada?s most walkable cities and offers a vibrant urban lifestyle. National and multi-national manufacturing and technology companies, including Siemens, PepsiCo and Rolls Royce, have operations here.
