Kennedy University offers students a high quality, affordable education that will prepare them to advance their career and community. John F. Kennedy University is a fully accredited, nonprofit university offering innovative and nationally recognized programs that will help students realize personal and professional growth. The collaborative learning environment will challenge students to expand their intellect and prepare them to contribute to their profession and community. Whether students are starting their Associate's Degree, finishing Bachelor’s Degree, advancing their career with a certificate program or continuing education course, or going all in for a Master’s or Doctoral Degree, the university offers a program for everyone.
Beside multiple course options to choose from, the university also provides various mediums of learning to match one’s learning to their lifestyle. In-person programs hold classes in the daytime and/or evenings at its two conveniently-located campuses in Pleasant Hill and San Jose. These programs are great for students who thrive off the structure and dynamic of a traditional onsite learning environment. Hybrid programs entail a blend of onsite and online courses, offering the flexibility of working remotely when applicable. Through FlexCourse, John F. Kennedy University’s new online learning platform, students can work wherever and whenever they want. Courses are taken one at a time and sequentially within a quarter instead of concurrently with other coursework.
A part of the San Francisco Bay Area community for over 50 years, JFK University has two campuses conveniently located in the East and South Bay areas with classrooms, libraries, and computer facilities. The Pleasant Hill campus houses the University’s administrative offices, it’s main library, and classrooms for its three colleges namely, the College of Psychology, the College of Law and the College of Business and Professional Studies. The Continuing Education division also has its main office here, and offers a wide range of courses for psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and RNs. The San Jose campus offers the programs such as Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and Juris Doctor.
