Overview
ONCAMPUS Reading is a partnership between the University of Reading and ONCAMPUS. It offers high-quality undergraduate and master's preparation programmes for overseas students.
International students can prepare for degree-level study across all subjects including business, engineering, humanities, life sciences and, art and design. The university was ranked 18th in the UK for Art & Design by the Guardian University Guide in 2018.
Programmes are delivered either on Reading's main campus, or on the historic ONCAMPUS base in London, one of the university's original campuses. It has recently been transformed into a modern, inspiring teaching environment that reflects the needs of industry.
Art and Design UFP and master's pathways are delivered at Reading's beautiful award-winning Whiteknights campus. It's home to top facilities including two on-site museums, a fully-equipped fitness centre, cafes, bars, a concert hall and a 24-hour library that houses over one million books. The queen even visited the university's wonderful Greenland campus during the 2012 Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
Humanities, business, life sciences and engineering UFP pathway programmes are offered at the ONCAMPUS centre in the heart of London.
After enrolling at ONCAMPUS Reading, students are assigned a personal tutor, who acts as their first point of call for any problems during their studies. Several orientation activities and events are held, such as faculty visits and campus tours, to ensure students feel integrated and are set for a smooth progression to the University of Reading.
Students then benefit from plenty of attentive support throughout their programmes, ranging from help with improving English language skills to guidance when developing a portfolio.
The town of Reading was named as the UK's best place to live and work by the Good Growth for Cities 2015 Index. It boasts two large shopping centres, a ten screen cinema, museums and an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs.
