UC degrees are offered in a broad variety of subjects and designed to align with industry demands. Benefiting from a location in the political centre of Australia, UC degrees in law, business and politics place students ahead of their counterparts in these fields. Students who opt to study IT and science at UC are kept at the forefront of innovation with degrees designed to incorporate the latest and cutting-edge developments in these disciplines.

In addition, UC is also a renowned specialist in sports, education and health, which positions the university as the home of innovative education in ACT. UC ranks highly for student support, learning resources and skills development, placing first in the ACT in this regard (QILT 2019).

UC is based in the vibrant capital of Australia, Canberra. It is a safe, innovative and modern city that has been ranked as the world's most liveable city by the OECD. Canberra remains number one in a range of areas including education, jobs, safety, environment, income and life satisfaction.
