In the next three years the university will be investing over GBP 100 million to further improve their outstanding learning facilities. These include a new Science and Engineering building, a new Energy House facility and investment in teaching facilities.
The University of Salford is the only university with a campus at MediaCityUK, neighbouring the BBC and ITV providing students with access to state-of-the-art media equipment. The university also boasts a world-class anechoic chamber, a human performance laboratory, nursing simulation suites and a Bloomberg Trading Suite.
Over the past five years, over GBP 5 million has been awarded in scholarships, giving generous financial assistance to international students. Scholarships are offered to high achieving students from different regions, for specific subject areas.
Salford is also a member of the Northern Consortium of UK Universities (NCUK), a group of 16 leading institutions dedicated to providing access for international students.
