University of Wolverhampton
The University of Wolverhampton is a leading modern university with a tradition of providing opportunity and academic excellence dating back nearly 190 years. The roots of the University of Wolverhampton lie in the 19th century growth of Mechanics Institutes, which provided vocational and general education for working men. The university offers over 250 undergraduate and 120 postgraduate courses in broad range of subject areas and many of which are accredited by professional bodies.
The beating heart of the University, City Campus is in right in the centre of Wolverhampton - with everything city living has to offer. Telford Campus combines an amazingly beautiful rural landscape to explore with one of the country's newest towns. With sport, teaching and health based at Walsall Campus, it's definitely the metaphorical body of the University. The University of Wolverhampton Science Park supports the development of innovative businesses working in science, technology, knowledge-based and creative sectors by providing a high quality environment and associated support services. It is now home to around 80 tenant businesses working in a broad range of disciplines.
