What's new

What's new

Expansion for School of Creative Industries

A new initiative has been announced to expand one of Conestoga's foremost schools through the creation of a new campus site in downtown Kitchener. It will be home to state-of-the-art facilities and specialist teaching spaces, addressing key skills shortages and attracting even more creative talent to the region.

In total, the creative industries program at Conestoga will be doubled in size by this new investment, providing expanded educational offerings across areas like illustration, motion graphics, digital product design and more.

New campus in Cambridge

Conestoga College has recently made the exciting investment to purchase a 250,000 square foot facility and 41 acres of accompanying land in the town of Cambridge for over CAD 33 million. The college intends to use this impressive facility to consolidate its variety of professional trade schools into one comprehensive, state-of-the-art learning and training facility.

This has been an ambition of the college for some time, but now the emergence of this site as the perfect location has allowed the college to unite its trade programs and deliver significant added value through the improvement in facilities and services.

Planning for the new campus site has commenced and is open now. Learners from trade and apprenticeship courses at the Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and Guelph campuses will be able to come together in this brand-new building. This new approach will reduce duplication in program learning, provide excellent new facilities, and further maximise the professional potential of Conestoga's trade students.

Students can explore the campus through the university website.
