Online study in semester two
UC understands how important it is for students to continue their study plans even while international travel restrictions are in place due to COVID-19. For this reason, the university offers a select range of online units for popular courses, enabling the online commencement of studies before transitioning to face-to-face study once travel restrictions are removed.
International tuition fee freeze
In order to support students, UC’s international 2021 tuition fees will remain unchanged from the current 2020 rates. A number of generous scholarships are also being provided to students together with special refund and admission arrangements.
A new biomedical research laboratory has been completed at the Faculty of Science and Technology and new workshop laboratories and studio spaces for students in the Faculty of Arts and Design has also been completed. The projects aim to provide a modern integrated facility that will enable high quality research, refreshed staff accommodation and improved facilities to engage with industry and the professions.
Canberra's only eSports space
The University of Canberra is now home to the capital’s only dedicated eSports lounge and the best eSports space in the higher education landscape. The space features over 20 PCs and consoles such as XBOX, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation loaded with the world’s most popular games.
Connect through TAP
Prospective students can chat to current students anytime via The Access Platform (TAP), a student ambassador platform where students can interact, build trusted relationships and ask a range of questions related to the student life in Canberra. Students can simply download the TAP app on their mobile phone to stay connected.
