About University of Central Florida
Founded in 1963 to provide talent for Central Florida and the growing U.S. space program, UCF has been making an impact on the state, the nation and outer space ever since. Opened in Fall 2019, the UCF Downtown campus provides innovative education for high-demand fields such as digital media and health information technology.
Since 1968 UCF?s home is, 1,415-acre main campus in east Orlando is impressive in size and even bigger in potential. Modern facilities and state-of-the-art technology keep students connected to classwork and social communities, while 800 acres of woodlands, lakes and an arboretum help them reconnect with nature.
