The University of Central Florida is a public research university located in metropolitan Orlando. According to U.S. News & World Report?s 2022 Best Colleges guide, UCF ranks among the nation?s 15 most innovative universities. UCF is also ranked as a best-value university by Kiplinger and The Princeton Review, as well as one of the nation?s most affordable colleges by Forbes. Founded in 1963 to provide talent for Central Florida and the growing U.S. space program, UCF has been making an impact on the state, the nation and outer space ever since. With 13 colleges and more than 230 degree programs, students can follow their passion at one of their campus locations designed to help them succeed. Since 1968 UCF?s home is, 1,415-acre main campus in east Orlando is impressive in size and even bigger in potential.
