Students can also enrol for evening or online courses through the College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS).
There are 4000 faculty members at University of Minnesota which include members of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the Academy of Medicine, plus the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, among other bodies.
At U of M's Twin Cities students come together to socialize and learn from each other in more than 800 student groups, from the Alpine Ski Team and the Black Student Union, to the Bass Fishing Team and the Capoeira Club. It also have an active Fraternity and Sorority community. In addition, students can develop their strengths and leadership skills through service learning and other community engagement opportunities.
