How safe is your location for international students? It is very safe. We actually have our very own police department that is just for our campus. They are very diligent and also making sure that we're aware that we're kept safe. I know there's always classes and seminars offered for anyone, for different things that maybe you were interested in, whether it's self-defense or just being aware. They're very delighted to keep all the students safe.

A Shoreline Community College is located just outside of downtown Seattle. You don't have to worry about the big city feeling and the security issues that can come with a large city as Seattle, Washington is one of the safest large cities in the United States. We already have a great foundation for safety within the Seattle area. But along with that, shoreline has its own 24/7 police force on campus to keep all of our students, faculty and staff safe. With our residence halls being locked with IDs to need access and someone to open the door for you, you can feel safe and welcome when it comes to living on campus at Shoreline Community College, safety is number one priority for our students.

Hi, I'm Maya and I'm from Melbourne, Florida, so I can say from firsthand experience that it is very safe here, but the high level of education and caliber of companies located here, we get the benefits of a big city without the crime or traffic. For instance, we have shopping restaurants, movie theaters, bowling alleys, a thrill park, five community theaters, a world class zoo and two professional symphony orchestras.

Hi, this is Raffi Muroy from Suffolk University in Boston, the U.S. is a safe environment for international students. We can certainly say that there have been aspects in the media that maybe give you that kind of impression. But overall, there's pretty strict regulations around different aspects of security that are infallible. My city, my hometown of Boston is a very safe city where the crime rate tends to be pretty low. And it's also a very welcoming environment, which you will feel, you know, accepted and recognized.

We have security on campus. Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. And on our website, we actually have a safety handbook that has a lot of tips, what we are doing on campus, as well as statistics about the local community. So you can check that out there.

Our campus is very safe for international students. We have public safety who are police officers that patrol our campus 24/7. They're always available for students if they ever feel unsafe or want to report something. We also our campus is very residential. So students live on campus. It's outside of the city center and students really enjoy the suburban feel to the campus, making it a very safe place for students.
