We do accept many other different English language proficiency exams, but for the ALSA, specifically for the undergraduate, it's six point or else. And for the master's graduate level, it's six point five minimum out there. Some other majors that might require a little bit higher, but mainly six point four undergrad, six point five for grad.

Now, if you apply to a program which is taught in English, you will have to submit test scores, of which one of the tests can be the ELT's. In this case, the overall score has to be six point five and the written score also has to be six point five. However, generally we require a 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in any subscale for foundation and 6 overall, with no less than 5.5 for entry to a bachelor degree and a 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in any sort of skill for a master's program.

At Aberystwyth University, the IELTS scores required will depend on the subject you are studying. The business and computer science programs, undergrads and postgrads will require 6.0. For all other undergraduate programs, students will require a 6.5 and for other postgraduate programs, students will require a 6.5 to 7.0.
