Cost of living in Canada ranges greatly depending on which city you choose with the lowest taxes in Canada, Edmonton, Alberta, is one of the lowest cost of living cities. This is one of the reasons so many young people choose to live here. Students should budget for about 10000 to 12000 Canadian dollars per year to cover cost of living expenses such as residence or rent, meal plan or groceries, cell phone plans and spending money.

You'll see a very large difference in the cost of living from city to city within Canada. Some of our more densely populated cities will have a much higher cost of living whereas here in Manitoba, we're very proud to offer very affordable cost of living in terms of housing, food costs and anything else that an international student may require. This makes it so that it's easy and comfortable for students as they go through their studies. But then, of course, that you can have some fun outside of your studies as well.
