    Job in Ireland is particularly good, particularly for areas such as I.T. and pharmaceuticals, other areas, business, construction and engineering generally are always good areas for graduates as well. We would have in excess of 95 percent employment rate across the board. So, yes, there are lots of career opportunities in Ireland.

    The job market like anywhere is competitive. However, you do have an advantage that you have an automatic stay back visa to work here in Ireland. We have lots of opportunities for business graduates, computer science graduates, engineering graduates. It can be more competitive for arts and humanities graduates. There's lots of students looking for jobs in those areas, but there is a lot of success stories for international students working here in Ireland after their graduate.

    UCD has been ranked the number one university for graduate employment in Ireland for three years in a row by the Qs World University rankings, the UCD Careers Network offer a specific platform for international students called Jumpstart, which prepares and assists students for navigating the job market in Ireland. The careers team also organises careers fairs virtually and on campus with employers and companies that students can make appointments with a career counselor to discuss your future career.
