First year international students can be considered for meritbased scholarships. Students are automatically considered based upon meeting our Priority Consideration deadline, which is March 15 for the 2022 and 2023 academic year. We also encourage students to reach reach out to their specific academic unit for scholarship opportunities. And getting involved on campus is a great way to get connected with scholarship opportunities as many of our 400 student clubs and organizations offer them as well.

At Lakehead University, we have an excellent merit based scholarship program for undergraduate students, it's automatic, so there's no application required and it's based off your final grades. If you have a seventy five percent or higher, you'll earn six thousand Canadian dollars. However, if you have an 80 percent, you'll earn seven thousand five hundred eighteen dollars per year or a 90 percent year in ten thousand Canadian dollars per year totalling forty thousand dollars. There's great opportunities and we look forward to seeing your applications.

Portland State offers different types of scholarships to international students. One is the merit based scholarship that you get from the admissions office, the scholarships you don't have to apply for. You automatically get considered when at the time of application, once you've submitted your academic documents based on your academics, you get the scholarship. Then there are other scholarships that you can apply for, those you can apply for once you attend PSU and scholarships can be stacked so you can get multiple scholarships at a time.

We do have quite a few scholarships offer the university and some of them that are open to international students are the Associated Students International Matador's Scholarship, about three thousand dollars. Diane Harrison Leadership Award about a thousand dollars. College and department scholarships at various university scholarships between seven thousand five hundred dollars. Usually presidential scholarships, ten thousand dollars. So they vary between five hundred to twelve thousand dollars.

We have several scholarship opportunities for academic students studying on campus or online for new incoming students. It's up to a two thousand dollar scholarship and then for current students, up to a four thousand dollar scholarship to apply. Students need to submit their application, a statement of purpose, and then to letters of reference, either academic or professional. We also have some community college transfer scholarships that range from five thousand dollars up to around fifteen thousand dollars.

At Western New England University, we have a really robust scholarship program for undergraduate students. This includes merit scholarships, which range from 10,000 to 22,000 US dollars per year. And we also have our women in business, women in engineering and leadership grants. All of these scholarships are open to international students pursuing undergraduate programs. For the graduate programs, we do have fully funded fellowships for both our PhD programs in engineering and behavioral analysis and for the master's programs, we will help you find additional funding opportunities.

Carleton University is able to offer their international students automatic entrance scholarships based on their grades coming out of high school. These scholarships range anywhere from one thousand to four thousand Canadian dollars per year for up to four years, totalling four thousand to sixteen thousand Canadian dollars. These scholarships are taken directly off that student's tuition automatically, and they're assessed at the point of admission. So a student will know what scholarship they've qualified for when they receive an offer of admission.

At CSC Wisby, we offer a variety of merit based scholarships for international students, our most prominent merit based scholarship is our presidential non-resident scholarship, which is a six thousand dollar amount for undergraduate students and four thousand dollars for postgraduate students, both of which who have at least a three point five GPA.
