Don't get too warm, we don't get too cold, however, you should prepare for damp weather, so you should bring layers like layers, things you can combine to deal with different types of temperatures and maybe waterproof jackets to keep you dry when it rains, because we do get quite a bit of rain in Ireland.

You can get everything you need in Ireland, so don't worry about packing too much luggage. I would advise you to pack clothes that can be worn as layers and also a jacket. You can buy all the winter clothes that you need here in Ireland in your hand luggage. Make sure you bring your university documentation, such as your offer letter, any medication, your passport, your tickets, and also your chargers for your phone and your laptop. We do have a very useful packing list that we share with students each year too.

Question. So my three recommendations would be this, so a pair of waterproof boots or shoes, so it rains a lot in Ireland, so it's useful to have that a lightweight rain proof jacket so they can they can walk around and take it off and on when needed and something to remind them of home. So a type of food or seasoning or musical instrument or something like that for when they get homesick.
