About Bond University

Bond University is Australia's leading independent, not-for-profit university. It offers a personalised academic environment that prepares students for success in their future careers, goals and endeavours. Bond students learn in world-class facilities from world-renowned academics, in smaller class sizes that allow its academics to be mentors, not just teachers.

Deciding on a degree or program is a personal choice, it’s about choosing the right program for oneself that interests and builds strong future. Bond offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and programs, diplomas and non-award programs. Students at Bond are prepared for the global workforce by gaining international experience during their degrees, inside and outside of the classroom. Bond programs take a worldview on teaching, and students have international opportunities from clinical placements in the Solomon Islands to Model UN competitions in Japan.

The University’s multi-million dollar Sports Centre incorporates a state-of-the-art gymnasium, TRX Suspension Training Studio, boxing circuit training room, Olympic-size swimming pool and a regular timetable of group exercise classes. The campus also features extensive outdoor sporting facilities for cricket, tennis, rugby and AFL, as well as indoor basketball, netball, futsal, badminton, volleyball and squash courts. Joining a sporting club is a great way to meet new friends and Bond has more than 20 to choose from.

Bond University provides researchers with a supported and creative environment in which to develop strategies that benefit its community at a local, national and international level. Researchers engage with the community, government and industry partners in collaborative research over a broad range of disciplines. Getting involved with researchers, graduate and undergraduate students can get the opportunity to participate in research, partake in active research trials, public lectures and workshops.

The Student Ambassador Program is a unique volunteer program made up of over 300 current Bondies from all over the world. Students can connect with university’s ambassadors at many on-campus events held throughout the year including Open Day, Experience Days, Head start Day, expo’s and Campus Tours.

The Bond University Student Association (BUSA) makes student life at Bond more rewarding - ranging from enhancing academic pursuits, facilitating sporting involvement and satisfying social necessities. BUSA is a voluntary, apolitical group of elected students here to represent students. It offers a number of services, including clubs and societies, events, student support and external engagement.

Bond University is located on the Gold Coast, Australia’s sixth largest city. International students choose Bond University not only for its quality education, but for the warm climate and the unique mix of natural attractions and sightseeing opportunities right on the doorstep.
