The University of Hertfordshire prides itself on its entrepreneurship and enterprise. This has recently been reflected by a nomination for “Outstanding Entrepreneurial University” at the latest Times Higher Education Awards. UH has been singled out for its collaborative work with businesses as well as excellent teaching and research in the prestigious awards. The winners are due to be announced at the end of November, and with three members of the teaching staff also nominated for awards, everyone at UH will be keeping an eye on the results.
New partnerships with over 40 different businesses were recently announced by the University of Hertfordshire. The partnerships mostly feature around the expansion of the University’s Degree Apprenticeship programmes, driven by increasing demand from employers. Blue-chip businesses such as Airbus and Epson are amongst those to have partnered with UH as they continue to be an increasingly key provider of Degree Apprenticeships in the East of England.
