Everything you need to know about studying in the UK in 2022!

You’d better take action now if you want to enter your ideal UK University in 2022! The UK University application system UCAS will close its first round of application on 15 January 2022, while UK foundation courses starting in January 2022 are also accepting applications. Start planning with IDP education today so that you won’t miss out any important steps!

IDP education will organise “Study in the UK Seminar” on 16 October (Saturday) to introduce multiple ways to enter UK Universities, as well as their timeline, arrangements and entry requirements. The Seminar is divided into two parts, “UK University” and “UK Foundation Course” to meet the study needs of all students.

“UK University” Seminar will explain the admission timeline, UCAS application procedures and offer school and subject selection strategies to DSE, associate degree and higher diploma students. “UK Foundation Course” Seminar will explain how to enter universities through foundation courses and international year 1, targeting F.5-6 students who are unable to meet university entry requirements.

IDP professional counsellors will also provide 1-1 counselling to students, guiding you through the entire application process from choosing institutions and subjects, opening UCAS account to making the application.

F.5、DSE、IB、GCE A-level、AD/HD students are welcome to attend!

To ensure health and safety for all participants and staff, and complying with relevant government regulations, please note that IDP students (and parents) are required to pre-register, and confirm their event timeslot booking with our IDP counsellors before joining the captioned event/activity.

After online registration, our IDP staff with contact students on the phone to book their preferred timeslot and confirm the number of attendance. Students will receive a confirmation email with their booked timeslot. Please show the confirmation email upon your arrival.

What is UCAS? UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) is a centralised service that students use to apply to university and almost everyone who wants to study an undergraduate degree in the UK will have to apply through UCAS.

There are quite a few procedures while apply through UCAS application, like writing a personal statement, preparing a recommendation letter and submitting specific documents for certain courses.
