We recommend that you choose to stay with a homestay family for at least the first 5 weeks of your course or program. Homestay accommodation is a great way to learn about Australian culture and to practice English in a safe, friendly and relaxed environment. Other accommodation Other accommodation options in the local area include apartments and private rentals in share houses. UQ also has on-campus residential colleges - these usually require longer bookings and places are limited. General English
Improve your English in social and work situations and get a foundation for more advanced learning. We will test you before you start and place you in a class that suits your English level and personal goals. General English is offered at 7 levels so you can start and finish your program at the level you need.
