UNSW was the first University in Australia to establish a University preparation foundation program, now in its 23rd year of preparing local and international students for University entry.
The University also enjoys the reputation of Australia's leading international university with over 135 different nationalities represented. UNSW currently has over 12,000 international students, giving the University a very international atmosphere and making UNSW one of the most recognised and popular universities in Australia for international students from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
