Western Australian Government Schools provide quality education to students in primary schools and secondary schools. All schools encourage the learning of eight areas – Mathematics/ Numeracy, Science, English/ Literacy, the Arts, Technology & Enterprise, Society & Environment, Heath & Physical Education, and Language other than English – in a safe and stimulated learning environment. In addition, a focus of Government School education is to ensure students are provided with educational programs which cater to their needs and talents. Schools provide a range of supplementary programs which provide opportunities for students to interact with their peers in the specific areas of academics, arts and languages.

Public schools welcome international students. Students can experience a system that is designed for the needs of Australians but which also proudly supports a truly international education
2015 Tuition Fees for 571 Student Visa:
Lower Secondary (Year 8-10) - $13,490 per annum
Upper Secondary (Year 11-12) - $14,800 per annum
Western Australian public schools do not offer residential accommodation to students. Students under 18 years old are required to have local guardians.
Relatives - If a student intends to live with a relative in Perth the relative can nominate with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection to be the guardian.
Homestay - If the student does not nominate a relative, then ETI requires the student to live in homestay accommodation organised by Australian Homestay Network (AHN). AHN is the accommodation provider in Western Australia. Homestay is when students live with an Australian family. This is very popular, even with students over 18 years old, as the student can make Australian friends, embrace the Australian lifestyle and improve their English.

Airport Transfer (mandatory for minors) $105 (Perth metropolitan area)
Full Service Homestay (3 meals per day) $285.00 a week
Half Service Homestay (2 meals per day) $265.00 a week
