Founded in 1841, Queen’s is one of Canada’s oldest degree-granting institutions and is consistently ranked as one of Canada’s best universities. Queen’s is ranked 4th nationally in Canada’s Maclean’s Magazine, 189th globally by QS, and 201-225th by Times Higher Education.
Located in Kingston, Ontario, midway between Toronto and Montreal, Queen’s has a student population of 21,000 (17,000 undergraduate and 4,000 graduate). International students make up 3% of the undergraduate population, 20% of the graduate, and stand-out programs include Engineering, Applied Sciences, Commerce, and Biology. The university has a beautiful, 100-acre waterfront campus with traditional limestone buildings.
