Leeds English Language School is the largest and old established private language school in Leeds, British Council accredited and HTS. The School is homely and friendly and the teachers are qualified, experienced professionals. It is British Council accredited, achieving Grade One in EVERY area inspected in 2012 and 2013.
— With courses in General English, IELTS and TOEFL preparation, and teacher-training, Leeds English Language School is a TOEFL and TOEIC testing centre.
— Classes are in six ability levels with a 95% progression rate through each level.
— Partnerships with boarding schools, sixth form colleges and universities provide a range of progression routes to higher education.
— The School has 180 students from 48 different countries. The maximum class size is 14, minimum age 16.
— The School’s online English programme, www.my-iteacher.com links students abroad for live tuition, one-to-one, with one of its teachers.
Areas Of Study
Leeds English Language School is accredited by the British Council who ensure quality English classes and high standards throughout the school.
The maximum class size is 14 students and you must be 16 or over to join a class.
Students are accepted from beginner to advanced for English courses.
Intensive English - 21 Hours per week
General English - 15 Hours per week. Morning classes.
Everyday English - 15 Hours per week. Afternoon classes.
NEW Intensive IELTS - 21 Hours per week for 6 Weeks.
Intensive General English PLUS IELTS - 21 Hours per week
Weekend IELTS - 10 Hours per weekend.

Pre-sessional English with A level preparation - 23 Hours per week
Pre-University foundation - 23 Hours per week
TOEFL Preparation - 24 Hours per week
Leeds is in the heart of the UK, an hour from Manchester and 2 hours from London by train. It has an international airport,two major universities and is the 3rd largest city in England. Leeds is a thriving city, rich in culture and heritage, close to the ancient city of York and surrounded by beautiful National Parks. The School is close to Leeds University and the city centre.

Stone Mill Stay properties offer a choice of luxury rooms at arange of properties in Burley, within easy (under 1km) walkingdistance of both Burley Road and Victoria Road sites of Leeds English Language School. Alternativley you can find and rent your own flat. This option is probably better for when you have been here a short time and have made new friends so that you can share the house together.
