Since its establishment in 1887, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) has been meeting the needs of the community surrounding it. Originally a Working Men’s College, RMIT showed its flexibility during World War Two, training over 20,000 servicemen in communications to help with the war effort.

College of Business and Law

The College of Business and Law delivers engaging and industry relevant education. It is well known for its applied research and is among the largest business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. It comprises six schools offering programs from traineeship to PhD levels.

College of Design and Social Context

The College of Design and Social Context teaches programs in architecture, art, design, education, fashion, media and communication, property management and social studies. Students can study these programs across RMIT schools from three Melbourne campuses. STEM College

RMIT International Excellence Scholarship

The RMIT International Excellence Scholarship offers financial assistance to a number of international students commencing their education in undergraduate or postgraduate degrees.

Students who qualify for this scholarship receive a reduction of 20% in their tuition fee for the duration of the entire program.

Students will qualify for this scholarship if they:

  • Obtain an overall 70% or its equivalent in their last completed qualification.
  • Offer either a personal statement of approximately 300 words or a video of duration of 60-90 seconds with an introduction of themselves, explain why they think they deserve the scholarship and also why they would be the ideal RMIT Ambassador.
  • Have a full offer of acceptance and also enrol in either the bachelor’s degree or Master’s by Coursework programs at RMIT.
