The College of Future Learning New Zealand Limited

The College of Future Learning New Zealand (FutureCOL) is a tertiary college under the umbrella organisation National Tertiary Education Consortium (Ntec), and is registered and accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. FutureCOL was registered as a school in 1992 and has a reputation for providing hands on training both in computing and in culinary arts. FutureCOL's main campus is in Hastings and the campus has easy access to public transport, libraries, shopping centres and food outlets.
It is a known fact that students learn best in an environment that provides a high level of individual support, using a practical and functional education environment that replicates the destination industry, and where tutors teach to industry requirements. FutureCOL tutors understand that each individual student learns best in his or her own unique way, where knowledge and skills are consolidated alongside confidence and competence, all critical for student success. Considering the multiple benefits of working and living in a region specialising in food, FutureCOL's Culinary School is different from all other schools as it is able to offer students a vast array of quality culinary learning capability experiences as an integrated part of the journey towards employment.
