The university?s rich academic portfolio includes six undergraduate colleges, five academic divisions and five graduate and professional schools. As a UC San Diego undergraduate, students will be assigned to one of the universities six Colleges?learning tracks and residential spaces that have their own traditions and general education requirements. UC San Diego?s main campus is located near the Pacific Ocean on approximately 1,200 acres of coastal woodland in La Jolla, California. It sits on the ancestral homelands of the Kumeyaay Nation. Kumeyaay people continue to have an important and thriving presence in the region.
