Online open days
Explore Nottingham's extraordinary new virtual open day experience. The university is hosting a series of live lectures and subject talks, with expert tutors from across a range of subject areas. Students can ask questions, and explore the beautiful campuses, accommodation and the city of Nottingham, from anywhere in the world.
Responding to COVID-19
The university is contributing to the world's ongoing fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus. Nottingham academics are conducting research on the virus, diagnosis, treatment and possible vaccinations, as well as sharing their expertise with the media and public. The university has also provided high-tech medical equipment to the government and hundreds of students and staff have volunteered their time to support the NHS.
Steps have been taken to protect students and staff during the pandemic while continuing to providing high-quality teaching and support through online channels. The university has closely monitored the international situation to plan for the year ahead, and reopened its campuses in September 2020 to welcome new and returning students, with new safety measures in place.
