Yes, PTE scores are accepted by Australian Universities along with other English proficiency tests such as IELTS and TOEFL.
Is GRE compulsory or IELTS is enough?

GRE/GMAT is not a mandate, however, for English-language requirements then IELTS is majorly accepted and often required by Universities.
