Taylors Auckland Foundation Year
Massey University also accepts students via its accredited Taylors Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY) programme as a pathway to the University. TAFY students who attain the grades and specified entry standards for admission to a particular degree programme are guaranteed entry to Massey University.

- Massey’s College of Business holds accreditation from AACSB International. Programmes hold endorsements from national and international bodies and professional organisations such as CIMA, ACCA and CFA.
- Massey’s Veterinary Science degree is recognised and registered with Australia, United Kingdom, Canada, United States of America and a number of other countries.
- Massey’s Aviation (Air Transport Pilot) degree is the fi rst non-engineering degree to be recognised by the Royal Aeronautical Society and has ISO9001-2000 accreditation. All of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) licensing requirements are integrated within the papers of the degree.
- Massey’s degree in Food Technology has an outstanding 40-year track record and is one of only two universities outside the Americas, accredited by the United States based Institute of Food Technologists (IFT).

Massey offers a comprehensive set of students services including Health and Counselling, academic study support, support for international students, chaplaincy and religious services and many more.
Recreation and Sport
Each campus has a recreation centre with gym and sports facilities. In addition there are several facilities utilised by the community including the North Harbour Cricket Centre in Albany, the Manawatu Athletic Track, Manawatu Equestrian Centre and the Sport and Rugby Institute.
Student Associations
Massey student associations aim to make student life as exciting as possible. Massey has seven student associations. They provide a range of services to students and advocate on behalf of students to the university and wider community. They work to make sure students' academic and welfare concerns are recognised and properly dealt with.
Campus Life:
Albany campus
Massey University’s innovative Albany campus is located on the North Shore of New Zealand’s largest city – Auckland. The campus grounds are peaceful with many native trees and plants, yet it’s only a five minute walk to the expansive Westfield shopping centre with its movie theatres, shops, restaurants and numerous fast food outlets. If students want to travel further, there are buses running regular routes around the North Shore region and into Auckland city.
Manawatu campus
The Manawatu campus is located in Palmerston North and is one of the best places in the country to experience the real student lifestyle. With a huge portion of the population under 25 it is the perfect place for learning and living.
Wellington campus
The Wellington campus is in New Zealand's capital city and is a great place to live. It is a compact city, set between a magnificent harbour and rolling green hills, where shops, exciting galleries and great restaurants are within easy walking distance. The Wellington Campus is centrally located near the city's artistic and entertainment quarters of Cuba Street and Courtenay Place in the heart of Wellington.
