Aspire2 International is launching its new short course in Auckland – “Hospitality Essentials.” This was created for international students who have a strong interest in learning the core fundamental skills that are needed for working at a bar, restaurant, or café – so that they can support themselves financially (and earn some extra money to travel around New Zealand) outside of study hours.
Aspire2 International hospitality department tutors created a short course to meet these student needs. The Hospitality Essentials Short Course not only teaches students all the necessary functional skills required, but it also teaches them how to process conflict, and manage interactions with customers from various cultures.
This equips participants with skills that are not only useful in New Zealand, but anywhere in the world. Students leave with a sense of confidence – which is an attitude that makes a marked difference in the field of hospitality.
Placements are filling up fast in Auckland and there are plans to have this course running in Christchurch and Tauranga soon.
