Red Deer College?s story began in 1964, when the first group of students attended classes that fall. Since then, RDC has proudly served their students and communities. The college offers more than 100 programs including degrees, certificates, diplomas and skilled trades programs. Students will also find a wide range of corporate, executive training and professional development opportunities.

At RDC, students will learn from expert instructors who care, with applied learning that makes sense for the real world and prepares them for meaningful employment. Class sizes are small across the majority of programs, which means that students establish meaningful relationships with their instructors and their peers.

Applied research and innovation provide opportunities where students and faculty collaborate with businesses and entrepreneurs to find solutions to real-world problems. Many of their applied research projects and facilities help to advance something they all care deeply about, ensuring they contribute to a sustainable future for the College, for central Alberta and beyond.

RDC is located in Alberta, a beautiful and vibrant province in Canada. With the Rocky Mountains to the west and the open prairies to the east, RDC is situated in Red Deer, which is Alberta?s fourth-largest city.
