UNSW Foundation Studies is the longest running and leading pre university foundation program in Australia. It is designed specifically for students with an international education background. The graduates can also apply to all other Australian and New Zealand universities, as well as other universities around the world. Its staff and facilities are of the highest quality and graduates at UNSW Australia have better academic performance overall than any other group of students.
The UFS students attend university style lectures, tutorials, workshops and laboratories that lay the foundations for success at university. Class sizes are small to create a dynamic learning environment while allowing each student to receive the individual attention they require. It’s curriculum is designed to support the development of tertiary-level academic skills necessary for success at University. The students receive a well -rounded education through which they further develop their critical thinking and creative problem solving skills, group discussion skills in English, teamwork skills and reflective learning. Students are encouraged to become independent learners who take responsibility for their own learning and academic progress.
The campus is located in Kensington, in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, close to the famous beaches of Bondi, Coogee and Bronte.
