Named after the British explorer, Matthew Flinders, the university welcomes students from all over the globe who dare to be different.

Established in 1966, Flinders ranked within the top two per cent of universities by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in 2020. Its campuses combine picturesque nature with laid-back urban living.

“This reflects the University’s reinvigorated Master of Business Administration (MBA) offering, placing the programme in the upper echelon of business courses internationally,” says Professor Phyllis Tharenou, Vice-President and Executive Dean of Flinders University’s College of Business Government and Law.

“The AMBA represents the gold standard in global recognition of business programmes,” she says.

Campuses

All three of its campuses offer world-class facilities.

  • The Bedford Park campus is co-located with Flinders Medical Centre. Its award-winning Student Hub and Plaza is located on this campus and is open 24/7 to help students get the most out of their on-campus experience. Numerous dining places also exist within campus.
  • The Tonsley campus is an AUD 120 million centre of innovation, to meet the challenging requirements of the contemporary world. Additionally, the New Venture Institute (NVI), is the most efficient link to businesses, government and community sectors. This campus also hosts many local and international businesses.
  • The Victoria Square campus has modern student lounges, study spaces and high-speed Wi-Fi. It is a reachable, alternative, and comfortable place for students. Accommodation
