As an extension of William & Mary, Richard Bland College of William & Mary prepares students for university transfer through academically rigorous programs grounded in the liberal arts tradition. Upon successful completion of the associate degree through the RBC Global Student Success Program, students will have completed the first two years of bachelor’s degree and will be eligible to transfer to William & Mary or one of 40 universities and colleges in Virginia.
Its Global Student Success Program is designed to ensure that students gain the necessary skills to excel and prepare for transfer to a top college or university in Virginia, such as William & Mary, University of Virginia or Virginia Tech. The program consists of for-credit coursework and provides an academic and cultural bridge from high school experience to studying at a university in the United States.
The unique teaching and learning environment at Richard Bland College allows high potential international students to focus their studies and benefit from RBC’s small class sizes, one-on-one personalized academic advising and dedicated support to ensure a successful and smooth transfer process.
Richard Bland College of William & Mary is committed to offer a variety of counseling services to assist students with their overall development and adjustment to campus. Its Student Success Center offers a wide variety of student support services including academic advising, disability services, peer-led and online tutoring, career and emotional counseling, and personal and professional development workshops.
Current student clubs and organizations offered by the college includes Anime Club, Art Learning Community, Business and Economics Club, Film Club, Residence Hall Association and International Club
Richard Bland College is minutes away from picturesque hiking and biking trails, rivers, golf courses, state parks, and more. It is also home to several competitive sports teams, which includes basketball, cheerleading, golf, soccer, softball and volleyball.
