ACG-North Shore International Academy
Founded in 2001, North Shore International Academy is the largest Culinary and Hospitality training provider in New Zealand. Its students can choose to study from a variety of baking, cookery and hospitality courses. NSIA offers a variety of world-class training programmes and is committed to providing quality, creative and professional education in the hospitality domain. Drawing knowledge and experiences from a diverse range of industry associations, it is able to deliver a contemporary and innovative teaching approach.
The academy is committed to the intellectual, personal, and professional growth of students through dedication to excellence in teaching and training. It provides a multi-resource environment to facilitate students’ learning and provides state-of-the-art facilities to enhance the success of its students. These include commercial training kitchens, production kitchen, cocktail and wine training centre, coffee training centre, an on-site training restaurant, commercial bar and restaurant, library, computer labs and multi-functional classrooms. The Academy constantly attempts to gain feedback from students about their learning needs and upgrades its facilities and increases the supply of resources to meet growing demands.
Based in central Auckland, North Shore International Academy is part of New Education Group, New Zealand’s leading independent provider of vocational training and higher learning. It has a truly international and multicultural environment with students from more than 30 different nationalities.
It has achieved the Training Excellence Award at the New Zealand National Culinary Fare competition for 8 consecutive years and the only private training establishment to compete and win awards in the Nestle Toque d'Or competition in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
